Company History

Lost Tribe Productions was set up In December 2005 to produce quality feature film projects in all types of genres to appeal to a broad audience in the UK and internationally.

THE DISAPPEARED is the debut feature film of Director/Producer/Writer Johnny Kevorkian and Producer/Writer Neil Murphy, who are also both Managing Directors of Lost Tribe Productions. The Disappeared is due for completion In January 2008.

Previously they have made acclaimed short films which have been shown at numerous festivals and distributed on T.V. and cable channels around the world. THE WAKE is a London set gangster thriller funded by The Foundation of Sports and Arts. SEIZURES a sci-fi horror, was made possible due to a vast amount of support from the UK film industry. It premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and was screened on Film Four. FRACTURED is an elaborate Hitchcockian thriller, fully funded by the E.U recently screened at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival.

Lost Tribe Productions is due to being pre-production soon on its second feature film which is the upcoming horror project SLEEP THIEF.

Lost Tribe Productions is completing its merger with Minds Eye Films during the first quarter of 2008. Minds Eye Films has been responsible for developing scripts and producing short films. Minds Eye will continue to develop screenplays, while Lost Tribe will produce and invest in projects internally and also become involved in co-productions both here in the UK and abroad.

The Disappeared starts its UK theatrical run from the 19th June 2009 in London. The film screens at the ICA cinema in the west end.

The Disappeared will have its UK premiere at this year’s Frightfest in August in London. The film will screen on Monday 25th of August at 3.40pm at the Odeon in Leicester Square. You can read more about the schedule and get further info on Frightfest as well as purchase your ticket online.
